Well, for one it controls the max distance the MA will follow you in track mode. I have now switched it off. I switch off beginners mode and the default setting in the max altitude is 120m and for the max flight distance also have setting range of 50-8000 meters,default setting is 480meters.
Aloha Rick, Yes, RAW will allow the photos to be blown up more than a .jpg. Go into your camera settings and change the resolution to 4K when you select the RAW setting. You can also choose .jpg and RAW together. Both formats will be taken. This will get you lots to blow up. Hope this helps!

Your drone is fine for mapping but the P4 pro+ controller doesn't allow loading the apps necessary for mapping flights. You would need to get an ordinary P4 pro controller and a tablet but you could still use the drone.
